Product description

The dispensing cabinet is a fully automatic warehouse used to store: tools, components, measuring instruments, occupational health and safety products, etc. in drawers.
Users of distribution cabinets have access to drawers that have been previously assigned to them. Gaining access is possible in three ways:
- entering an individual PIN code,
- RFID card reading,
- reading a card with a barcode.
After opening the drawer, the user picks up the assortment and enters the quantity he has taken. If the quantity of the product falls below the specified minimum, a warning is sent to a previously defined e-mail box.

The assortment in the cabinet may be assigned an individual barcode. There is no need to select content from a list or search for it. The drawer is opened after scanning the barcode, which may be on the packaging, drawing or documentation.
The dispensing cabinet allows each user to be assigned a list of products that will be downloaded as a set - "Basket". The basket may consist of various tools or components needed to perform specific production tasks. If the contents of the basket are in different drawers, they are opened one by one and the location of the assortment is displayed on the monitor. The dispensing cabinet will automatically reduce the contents by the amount collected and send a notification when the minimum values are reached. Access to the basket is possible by selecting it after logging in or by scanning a barcode that can be placed on a drawing or other documentation.
The person supervising the operation of the publishing cabinet has the following rights:
- can add or remove users,
- supplement the assortment,
- define and assign baskets,
- lock drawers and provide temporary access to specific products,
- set the e-mail address to which notifications will be sent.
Benefits of using a publishing cabinet:
- continuous and limited access to high-value products,
- thanks to automatic control of the contents of the cabinet, production continuity is ensured (possibility of pre-ordering the ending assortment),
- using baskets and assigning barcodes to the contents speeds up the downloading process and minimizes the risk of mistakes,
- the publishing office continuously logs events, which ensures verification of abuses,
- it is possible to connect several publishing cabinets together. The system created in this way consists of a MASTER cabinet - with a monitor and authorization system, and SLAVE cabinets. The MASTER cabinet controls the operation of the SLAVE cabinet.
